CARBON SINK is an electro-acoustic duo, formed by Magali Sanheira and Gaël Angelis.
It marks their common interest for both amplification and electromechanical "self-generative" systems that activate objects and materials by friction, percussion or vibration.

The Instrumentation is protean. Each device combines various objects: IPN beam, percussion and feedback systems; scanner, coal and field recordings; or synthesizer and various small motors and objects ...

These various combinations of forms and objects allow them to improvise around an idea, a story.

Their intention is to build an immersive musical environment, "bruitist" and organic, with concrete and industrial colors, imaginary stories on a nature in peril.
